MADCUP, with the official collaboration of the Atlético de Madrid
Academy, the Community of Madrid and the Madrid Football Federation
(RFFM), is an ambitious male and female youth football tournament that
was founded in 2021 with the aim of becoming the most important
football tournament of its kind in the world within the next few years.
The main venue of the tournament is the sport center of the Atlético de
Madrid in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid), a city that was declared a UNESCO
World Heritage Site in 1998. The other venues will be located in different
municipalities of the Community of Madrid.
The Celebration Ceremony of the tournament will be held at the Atlético
de Madrid Civitas Metropolitano stadium, one of the most modern and
sustainable in the world, where all the teams and players will attend and
enjoy the team parade.
MADCUP is a project that aims to promote the teaching of values,
alongside the University of Alcalá and other teaching institutions,
highlighting the importance of respect, effort and teamwork.
